A house that is not afraid of the passing of time
The lady from Mantova who asked us to furnish her house dreamt of a contemporary kitchen but with timeless materials. For her, we have created and designed a kitchen in which there is a roomy boiserie made of warm wood hiding an invisible door for the storeroom.
The cooking area is dominated by an important hood, almost a chimney pot, which perforates the ceiling and is lit like a skyscraper; it loves the city. By way of contrast, the kitchen work-top is sculptural, matching a light table. Behind a wall painted with wax, there are two artistic plates given by beloved people as presents. Along this wall, there is a modern, capacious bread bin made of solid wood worked almost as if it were an ancient fabric.
